December 16, 2021 ~ Winds Blowin', Lights Are Out
So the wind this winter has really been wreaking havoc on Great Gifts. Last week it took out our awning/signage, and today the lights. But WE ARE HERE and OPEN FOR BUSINESS. Until 3 pm the shop is pretty well lit as we have the large picture window, after 3 pm you'll likely need a flashlight. LOL! Open till 6 pm. Stop by to see us!
Update 5:30 pm: Power is back onl! Yay! And we've decided to stay open until 9 pm for your shopping convenience. Considering the lights are out, it's been a busy day for shoppers! Seems some of you enjoyed the adventure of doing treasure hunting in the dark. (Note to selves at Great Gifts...could this be a themed shopping experience....Stay Tuned!!)

LYNN M HOERAUF WINS 2021 GLOBAL AUTHOR ELITE AWARD FOR HER BOOK "MISS SNICKERS"
Mid MICHIGAN — November 2021 — Mid Michigan resident Lynn M. Hoerauf has won the 2021 Author Elite Award in the Romance category for her book, Miss Snickers. Hoerauf was announced the winner at this year's Author Elite Awards Ceremony hosted from the Hilton, in Columbus, Ohio. Over 1,000 authors worldwide were nominated for their work in categories such as Health and Wellness, General Fiction, Romance, and many others. Entries were reviewed and evaluated based on popular vote, social contribution, and overall presentation (cover, content, flow, and originality) by a panel of select judges.
Hoerauf presented a synopsis of her book at the Author Elite Awards Red Carpet Sessions. Saturday evening included a Red Carpet Meet and Greet followed by the Author Elite Awards Ceremony. The Author Elite Awards is an award bestowed for literary merit and publishing excellence in the writing and publishing industry. It is presented annually at the Author Elite Awards Ceremony by Author Academy Elite. November 21, 2021 ~ WE'VE BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR 1 YEAR!
Wow! Just WOW! Where has the time gone?!! Well, as they say, "time flies when you're having fun", and we are having SO much fun it's no wonder we feel like an entire year has flashed by in the blink of an eye. We've met and worked with so many amazing artists and crafters, and met hundreds, upon hundreds of people who have ventured into Great Gifts looking for something unique. We're excited to see where the next year and many more take us!
October, 2021 ~ We've Now Got Over 100 Vendors Items In-Stock!
Just in time for the holidays, we reached 100 vendors! What's this mean? There's over 4,000 in from which you can choose! Find a wonderful gift for yourself or someone you love. From November 1st to December 31st, we're open 7 days a week, excluding Christmas Day. On January 2nd we're back to our normal 6-day week through October 31st. As always, "if the lights are on, come on in" as we're often at the shop early and stay late to make sure all the latest amazing creations are ready for you.
